In 2008 CIHEAM and MAI Bari collaborated with the Mediterranean Institute of Certification (IMC) and the Italian university consortium Rifosal on the planning of a series of Mediterranean study days upon quality and food safety.
Five meetings were planned, with CIHEAM playing an active part in each one:
The first was held in Rome on 9 June 2008 in association with the Italian authorities. Read
The second was in Tirana on 6 October 2008 in the presence of the Albanian authorities. Read
The third was organised in Cairo on 28 May 2009 with the aid of the Egyptian authorities. Read
The fourth was held on 16 April 2010 in Istanbul in collaboration with the Turkish authorities. Read
