Candidates for postgraduate specialised courses must have an academic level entitling them to follow a postgraduate course in their countries of origin or the equivalent of at least four years of undergraduate studies.
Their degree must be in a discipline that is relevant to the chosen field of specialisation. Other conditions for admission, notably linguistic competences, must be fulfilled for certain programmes.
The short specialised courses are intended for those who already have a profession (academic staff, researchers, front-line development workers, government officials and private-sector executives) and wish to improve their knowledge in a specific area.
