In 2021, the FAO, the CIHEAM and the UfMs have joined forces to provide a framework for collaboration aiming at accelerating progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and supporting the shift towards more sustainable food systems in the Mediterranean region.

The GID and the CIHEAM jointly organize the 9th Parmenides Conference, focusing on the sustainable management of Mediterranean watersheds face with the impacts of societal and climate changes. The conference will take place in the CIHEAM Bari Institute.
