COLLABORATIVE ACTIONS TO SUPPORT MORE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN REGION
FAO, CIHEAM and UfM have joined forces to provide a framework for collaboration to promote their common goals and objectives in accelerating progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, through collaborative actions to support the shift towards more sustainable food systems in the Mediterranean region.
On May 21, 2022, the CIHEAM will celebrate its 60 years!
Various crises weigh on the future of the Mediterranean region but they also encourage us to review inefficient models and learn from the current evolutions. The initiatives to celebrate the CIHEAM's 60th anniversary will be developed in this spirit. They will aim to explore the opportunities of tomorrow.

CULINARY AND GASTRONOMIC HERITAGE: A MEDITERRANEAN OPPORTUNITY !
The CIHEAM has participated in the Forum des Mondes Méditerranéens that was held in Marseille (France) on 7 and 8 February 2022. It mainly focused on Mediterranean culinary and gastronomic heritages and their cultural, economic and educational challenges in the Mediterranean.
