Faced with the pressing challenges of agri-food systems, what policies should be undertaken?

From May 22 to 30, 2024, CIHEAM Chania is organising a workshop to better understand the developments and challenges of agri-food policies and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union.

This hybrid workshop, open to Master's students, professionals, and researchers, offers a forum for discussing the challenges of agricultural sustainability, food security, and effective natural resource management.

Agri-food policies have evolved in response to the emergence of challenges such as climate change and environmental preservation, socio-economic trends, and dynamics of cooperation. The interventions will aim to explore these evolutions over time while focusing on committed priorities and future prospects.
